About Treehouse

Robyn Greathead

Treehouse has built a reputation of a love of type, a strategic eye to design and a natural elegance in the artwork we produce.

We produce design that communicates effortlessly; print that catches the eye and seduces you to spend time with it; and book design – tactile and enduring – that gives voice to the story it tells.

As new media evolves, this focus and dedication to craft has never been more important. Communication must be coherent and immediately accessible – one message, one voice, beautifully realised.

We work both directly with clients and as a Design, Typography and Art Studio resource for the advertising and publishing industry.

With the principals each clocking up over 30 years of advertising, typography and design experience prior and since establishing Treehouse, and a network of colleagues with expertise in all realms of advertising, graphics and printing services, we can advise you and put together a team to best meet your needs.

I think back to the halcyon days of advertising, when agencies were more than just businesses – rather a haven for the eccentric, the innovative, the ‘out-of-the-box’ thinkers. I couldn’t help but be drawn to those who look at things with fresh eyes, stripped of the commonplace.

Treehouse was born of the desire to work with like-minded people, nice people, talented people – producing uncompromising work, work that is right on message, beautifully expressed – something we could all be proud of.

Treehouse is all about work at play, and I aspire to spend my days enjoying the work I do and the people I work with. I like to gnaw into a brief, chew it till I find the one thing above all that needs to be said. Call it strategic thinking – for me is an obsession with solving puzzles. Once you get there, there is only honesty in what to say and how to say it. The key to good design is always the right message.
