I think back to the halcyon days of advertising, when agencies were more than just businesses – rather a haven for the eccentric, the innovative, the ‘out-of-the-box’ thinkers. I couldn’t help but be drawn to those who look at things with fresh eyes, stripped of the commonplace.
Treehouse was born of the desire to work with like-minded people, nice people, talented people – producing uncompromising work, work that is right on message, beautifully expressed – something we could all be proud of.
Treehouse is all about work at play, and I aspire to spend my days enjoying the work I do and the people I work with. I like to gnaw into a brief, chew it till I find the one thing above all that needs to be said. Call it strategic thinking – for me is an obsession with solving puzzles. Once you get there, there is only honesty in what to say and how to say it. The key to good design is always the right message.
